Vanessa and Nathan were married in the heart of Sydney in a wedding that little girls dream of! The joy of the day was shared between Vanessa, her new husband, and Vanessa’s daughter.
Tell us about your proposal. Nathan proposed whilst we were picnicking at the Royal Botanic Gardens. My daughter and I had absolutely no idea and we were both very surprised. He had arranged for a night in a grand suite at the Hilton and we ate at the restaurant where 6 months later we held our wedding reception.
How did you know your partner was the one? He’s my best friend, and I still can’t get enough of his affection. I also knew the first time he met my daughter that their connection was unique.
What do you love most about your partner? His kindness and his handsomeness. We both have the same values, beliefs, and life goals.
What was your favourite part of the wedding day? Saying our vows and listening to all of the speeches.
Describe your wedding theme? Classic European. The quality of the food and wine was very important to us.
What was your favourite detail? I loved my dress and my velvet burgundy shoes, plus the flowers set amongst the sandstone.
What is marriage to you? It’s something you don’t do unless you can imagine growing old with the other person.
