Set within the historic Werribee Park, only 30 minutes from Melbourne, The Refectory is nestled in 10 acres of formal gardens surrounding the grand 1870s Mansion. While our façade retains its distinctly Italianate architectural style, The Refectory welcomes modern touches and the allure of heritage grandeur.

Choose from a variety of ceremony locations to say I do within the surrounding gardens – featuring a colourful parterre, ornamental lake, glasshouses and expansive formal lawns. The Refectory also offers ceremonies in the Mansion with exclusive use of the main hallway and grand staircase creating a classic atmosphere for your ceremony.

The Refectory combines heritage features, designer chandeliers, high ceilings and contemporary furnishings. Seating up to 150 guests with dance floor or up to 380 guests for a cocktail style event The Refectory by Bursaria offers a dynamic setting and award-winning dining experience.
