Letterpress Paper Goods

Press 65 is your new favorite letterpress team.
We provide custom design for your invitations and we print everything by hand on a Vandercook letterpress.

At Press 65, we believe that the best wedding invitations are those that speak to the personality of the couple. They are a two-dimensional expression of who you are, and should be just as unique as the two of you.
We love putting our thinking caps on and creating designs that speak to the hearts and eyes of our clients. When you are purchasing a design for your wedding, you should be able to trust that your designers will do their best to work with your vision in order to create something that’s uniquely yours.
  • What do you love most about what you do? Printmaking has been my passion for over 10 years; and letterpress, with its irresistible magic, is at the center of it all. Ink, paper, lead type, the sound of the rollers on a Vandercook letterpress... these are things I'm in love with. Couple this with getting to work with couples who are in love and planning their special day... it's a recipe for such joy!
  • Where did your passion for what you do start? When I started studying at the Academy of Art University, I declared Fine Art Painting as my major, assuming this was the logical course for me. However, during my first painting class, the instructor constantly told me I was “rendering” instead of “painting”! This was a huge contrast with my Intro to Printmaking class, during which I found my artistic calling. Once I changed my Fine Art emphasis from Painting to Printmaking, I was introduced to letterpress by Megan Adie of Aviary Press and fell in love with the process.
  • What is your advice for a healthy, long lasting relationship? Laugh together every day, and don't sweat the small stuff! It's okay to not agree on everything - the beauty of a relationship is in the differences between two people, and in allowing love to cover over little arguments.
  • What is your best advice to couples planning their wedding? Enjoy this time! As stressful as planning a wedding can be, it's a special time in your relationship that will not repeat, so cherish it and try to enjoy it all as it's happening. When planning an event, something will always go slightly wrong; but when you're ready to roll with the punches, you'll find joy in even the unplanned things because you'll be focusing on the main objective of the day - marrying the love of your life!
