Hi, we are Alex and Cassie. Ten years married and madly-in-love! We have three beautiful children, Grace, Isaac, and Judah. Oh and we recently got a fourth child… our Groodle fur baby Archie. And our 5 chooks who give us breaky in the morning. The Life in our household is what we like to call “beautiful chaos”.
Documenting weddings is what makes us tick! Cassie works on the nitty-gritty stuff in the business while also second shooting from time to time and juggling the three kids (yes, she’s wonder woman). Myself (Alex) am the primary photographer. I will deal with you directly getting to know your story so I can document your story the best way possible on the day. Our passion is to document a story - to capture the emotion and feelings that make a wedding day epic - not stopping the flow of your day to pose or ask you to say cheese…. We believe it’s about capturing those moments you were in the middle of and those moments you never even saw so that you can look back on that day, years later and be reminded of what that day was.
- What do you love most about what you do? The buzz and responsibility of capturing that incredibly special moment at a wedding that people will treasure for a lifetime, whilst also having creative freedom doing it. Where else do you get the creative freedom and make others happy at the same time? It's the best job in the world.
- What gets you out of bed in the morning? The kids! But to answer the guts of the question, it’s the appreciation that we have been blessed with life. We aren’t guaranteed anything in this life and we believe everything we have is a gift from God. Having this mindset helps us get out of bed with thankfulness and contentment.
- What is your advice for a healthy, long lasting relationship? Selflessly serving each other in ways that ultimately bring joy to both of you. Laugh a lot and learn to love coffee, because when kids come along you'll be grateful for it.
- The most romantic location in Australia is... Southern Highlands in NSW 😀
