My name is Richard Johnston and I am the award-winning photographer and creative director behind Lonely Hunter. Based in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, I have invested all my time and energy into perfecting my craft, so that when it comes to taking your wedding photos I can confidently say that I will deliver a premium service. I am a perfectionist at heart, I take a lot of pride in what I do and what I present to others, and it’s this nature which means that I always try to go above and beyond what’s expected. When it comes to my shooting style, I usually try to encourage natural, unforced moments over anything that’s heavily posed. I find it’s this approach that allows your true emotions, personality and the connection that you share with your partner to really shine through, making the overall imagery look effortless and timeless.
