“There are so many beautiful moments in a wedding, and each and every wedding is genuinely unique. I love sitting down to get to know you and how you imagine your day to be. I love the creative process of catching all the tender and emotional images, that together will not only tell the story of your day, but also symbolise the love you have for each other.
It is for this reason that my photography is as natural and relaxed as possible; I prefer to catch all the action as it happens, without intrusion. I believe the challenge of catching beautiful images without any staging is ultimately more rewarding and genuine. And when it comes to our dedicated photography time, any creative styling you would like for your portraits can be designed to your ideas as part of our pre-wedding consultation.
I am a hopeless romantic myself, and am still moved by the expressive nature of a wedding, the excited bundle of nerves before, the raw emotion and pure heart during the nuptials, and the joy and celebration afterwards. I would truly love to have the honour of capturing yours.”

  • What do you love about what you do? With all the energy and gravity surrounding each couples day, I just love capturing all the emotions and moments that get missed by others. To me the details are just as important as the drama and grand gestures, and I ultimately find the process of capturing a wedding day as it unfolds quite inspiring.
  • Where did your passion for what you do start? A couple of weeks ago, I had to take a family member to hospital for a small operation, so I took my laptop so I could get some editing done whilst I was waiting. Whilst editing, several times a passerby would comment that I must be reading a great book, or watching something enjoyable, and I suddenly realised I had been grinning away at my screen as I edited all the gorgeous wedding day images in front of me. It was a lovely affirmation of my choices to move into wedding photography 8 years ago after I experienced for the first time the wonderful feeling it was to both capture and preserve the happy moments in someones life.
  • Dogs or Cats? Both :) Dogs for their optimism and blind love, and cats for their sass!
  • What gets you out of bed in the morning? Coffee!!
