Kamea Events is a wedding & event planning company based in Portland, Oregon and serving the surrounding PNW and beyond.

We value the long-lasting relationships that motivate planning and throwing a memorable soiree; the marriages that grow deeper after the wedding and the friendships that continue after the party. We take care of those details so you can focus on who matters most in your life.

From intimate elopements to large, elaborate weddings, plus everything in between – no celebration is too small to be given the utmost attention to detail & atmosphere. We specialize in the design, planning, coordination, and styling of your wedding to make sure it is everything you ever envisioned. Whether you want us there from the beginning of your wedding planning adventure, or just on the day of to make sure things run smoothly, we will go above & beyond to make your experience one that is stress-free.

  • Where did your passion for what you do start? I've been organizing everything and anything for as long as I can remember! That, combined with my love for hosting memorable events that make everyone feel welcome & comfortable, ignited my passion to start my own business where I could share that with those around me!
  • What is your advice for a healthy, long lasting relationship? I've got to say, the biggest (and the most useful) piece of advice I've received & like to share with others is to "choose love everyday." It's so easy to think of "love" as feeling rather than an action, but choosing to show your love for your spouse in a way that fills them up each day will keep you going even through the toughest times.
  • What is your best advice to couples planning their wedding? Designate "non-wedding talk" time together! It's sooo easy to let wedding planning overtake your lives during the engagement season, but don't forget about your relationship with each other! Continue dating each other, and definitely set a boundary (almost like a business meeting) for when to address wedding plans.
  • The most romantic movie of all time is... Okay, you're just gonna have to go with me on this one, but I think "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is one of the most romantic films I've seen.
