Fielding Milligan

Bespoke Handcrafted Stationery

Fielding Milligan came about through the chance of helping a friend with her wedding day and has grown from an ethos of old fashioned quality and paired back elegance. Sarah, the founder and director of Fielding Milligan first started creating Wedding and Event stationery with a Bachelor of Design from QUT and has years of experience in digital design practices. Although, her real passion is in the handmade; celebrating textures and organic hand drawn elements creating timeless beauty and enchanting details. Sarah works tirelessly with her brides (and on the occasion grooms!) to bring each couples personality and vision to reality, creating for them a truly bespoke product. We jump at the chance to experiment with new ideas and techniques and love getting caught up in the design process with you!

We believe that a perfectly curated suite of bridal stationery creates a wonderful and lasting first impression. Why not set the tone to one of the most important days in your story together, and all before the big day even begins?

  • What is your best advice to couples planning their wedding? All we can say from our own wedding planning experience is 'you do do'. What we mean by this is it's your day, make it 100% what YOU Both want. We kept our planning to ourselves and told people if they had any issue with any of our plans they didn't need to come as much as we would like them there. At the end of the day we didn't follow any specific rules

Also pick vendors who you love, don't worry about the details initially just pick people you connect with and 9 times out of 10 they will make your vision come to life.
  • The most romantic location in Australia is... Derwent bridge/Lake St. Clair in Tasmania in winter. It's absolutely magical. Every few years they need to burn the button grass off and the burnt paddocks with the wintery mist and snow capped mountains is just stunning
  • What do you love most about what you do?
  • In my spare time I love collecting... Shells, leaves, flowers and grasses... I grew up on a farm and always came home with little bits and pieces and it's never left me. To the point my partner now picks random weed flowers and brings them home for me.
