Weddings At Tiffanys

Weddings at Tiffany’s is located in the stunning Sunshine Coast hinterland, Maleny, perched 600m above sea level. Nature provides the venue with the most comfortable sub-tropical climate, nestled amongst prime dairy country, rolling green hills and views that stretch for miles. To the South sits the Glasshouse Mountains and Brisbane, to the East Morton Island and the Pumicestone Passage, and to the West the Conondale Ranges. Maleny and Montville are renowned tourist destinations, boasting an abundance of lovely accommodation houses and restaurants right on the doorstep of Weddings at Tiffany’s.

Kelly Tilse founded Weddings at Tiffany’s after she noticed a gap in the market while running her floristry business. ‘In 2007, I opened the doors to my hinterland-based wedding floral design studio, simply named Wedding Flowers in Maleny (now named Tiffany’s Flowers). During this time I was liaising with and listening to many couples who were getting married in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland and hearing their concerns regarding their chosen wedding venue, such as “What happens if it rains on my wedding day? They don’t have a beautiful undercover area on site” or “I really don’t like the décor! The carpet is burgundy and I can’t change that.” After listening to what my couples’ concerns were, I decided there was a need to find the perfect location.’ Kelly and her husband stumbled across a stunning old Queenslander perched high upon an escarpment with views to die for. At the time, the building and grounds were extremely rundown, but they both knew this was the place. So together with her mum, Colleen, and dad, David, they began this family run business, also consisting of her two boys, Jack and Harry, who are keen to learn more about the running of Weddings at Tiffany’s.

The venue now holds three separate and intimate ceremony locations:
1. Chapel: The stunning white, air conditioned chapel is located on the escarpment, with large glass windows positioned perfectly in the back facing the Glasshouse Mountain views. It is elegantly and neutrally toned with chandeliers, wooden floors and glass louvres that allow for beautiful natural light.
2. Gazebo: Located South-West of the property, this is the perfect place to get even closer to nature, with a French paved area and
garden fountains, boasting views out to the Glasshouse Mountains and Conondale Ranges.
3. Deck: This was purposely designed for family portraits, but has also started to become a favourite spot for outdoor ceremonies. This is ideal for those wanting to add their own styling and extra touches to the deck area.

Weddings at Tiffany’s employs over 40 amazing staff. They are a dedicated team of wedding and administration coordinators with degrees from Sunshine Coast University in Business and Event Planning.
