Claire + Nathan: Wedding of Favourites

1

Claire and Nathan found the most photogenic vintage red tin shed and a little blue smoke bomb to take some of their photos in front of, which we absolutely adore! That along with some speccy beach shots under the quiet light of the setting sun capture the deep, emotive hues in their pictures that help us to journey with Claire and Nathan on their special day, thanks to LiFe Photography.

When we asked Claire what she loved most about her and Nathan’s day, she could hardly single out one treasured moment (so sweet). “My favourite memory was walking down the aisle with my dad. It was such a special moment to share with him. And also seeing Nathan’s face at the end of the aisle… Also the first dance, because we danced to my favourite song by one of my favourite people – Heroes, by David Bowie.”

It’s a beautiful thing to consider the couple and that moment they both realised they were in for the long haul. “I just knew. We were inseparable from the first date, and it just felt right.”

We thought it was also particularly cool that the couple chose to have mixed gender bridal parties and no allocated seating for the day. Why not buck the tradition if you’ve got a great idea in mind or you want to shape your day in a particular way! Do what you love. Claire says they “wanted the wedding to feel nice and relaxed and reflect our personalities.” And that, they did!
