Vanessa and Michael’s intimate Fiji wedding captured both of their free-spirited hearts, drawing on inspiration from nature, their love of Fiji, bohemian styling, music of the 60s and 70s and memories of sun-drenched beachside afternoons with friends. They were both enchanted by the idea of an ethereal, salt-swept wedding, with an intimate shoreline reception under the stars.
While the couple enjoyed the beautiful details and breathtaking scenery, their fondest part of the day was having Vanessa’s sister attend. “A few weeks before our wedding my younger sister was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 26 years of age. Our wedding fell at a pretty traumatic and confusing time in my family’s life. There was a chance she may have not have been able to come, however her doctors encouraged she attend. Fiji would do her good, and it did. So, seeing her there, proud, happy, with tears in her eyes whilst signing our wedding certificate is an image I will never forget - my most treasured memory.”
