She Takes Pictures, He Makes Films

We have the most exciting news! The very talented photographer, Lucy Spartalis (who we LOVE), is collaborating on a new project with filmmaker, Alastair Innes, to create She Takes Pictures, He Makes Films (how cute is that name?)

The pair has decided to work on a project that will provide clients with gorgeous keepsakes, telling the story of their day in a romantic and simple way. Instead of the long, traditional (and let’s face it – kinda boring) wedding videos that would get watched once and then put on the shelf, Alastair is creating easy to watch/share/email highlight reels, set to music that suits the mood and feel of the celebration.

Lucy and Alastair share a passion for creating breathtaking images in a creative and unobtrusive manner. Their styles of photography and film-making compliment each other perfectly, and now they’ve teamed up to offer all round wedding coverage: natural, artistic photo collections and gorgeous 6 – 8 minute highlight films set to music. The first offering from the collaboration is from the decadent and stylish celebration of Melbourne newlyweds Emma and Keir. Held at St Patrick’s Cathedral and 1000 Pound Bend, it was a truly unique and spectacular feast for the senses.

Here is the first wedding shot by the uber talented duo and we absolutely adore it. If you like what you see make sure you follow the links to keep updated on what’s happening with She Takes Pictures, He Makes Films!
