Sarah + Mark: A Byron Bay Wedding

Sarah + Mark had met whilst working at their local supermarket. “I worked in the deli and he worked in the produce”, said Sarah. “We often joke that I lured him in with cured meats as he loves his food!”

The day that Mark proposed, he had also spent the entire morning in the kitchen, but this time it was all to impress Sarah. He’d planned and cooked all of Sarah’s favourite foods and they had an outrageously delicious feast at a picnic spot he’d perfectly scouted out.

So, when it came to planning their wedding, it is no doubt that Sarah + Mark had two key things in mind: fun and food! They wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere, where the food was delicious and the drinks divine, and they were not disappointed! “The food and drinks were most definitely a highlight! We personalised our menu to reflect food that we commonly eat at home from a diverse range of cultures. We also love sharing food, our mains were on big share platters down the centre of the table, which encouraged guests to feast together! Our guests had commented that some of the food was the best they had ever tasted!”

What is marriage to you?

“Marriage is all about having fun and sharing your life with the person you love most!”
