Real Wedding: Kelee + Dennis

3

Kelee and Dennis danced their way down the aisle to Roison Murphy’s You know me better with their two daughters in tow. The couple, determined not to have your average wedding, were just one of the pairs married at the most recent Canberra Pop-Up Wedding. They playfully laughed throughout their ceremony, conducted by Bianca Way Celebrant. Poacher’s Pantry’s famous tree provided the perfect backdrop for the styling genius of Style my Aisle, and rustic blooms by Moxom and Whitney were a wonderful addition to the day. Silque Photography was behind the dreamy images that showed off how relaxed their day was!

For Kelee and Dennis, a Pop Up wedding was ‘a very affordable way to have the beautifully styled wedding you always wanted without the enormous price tag. The entire Pop-Up team were amazing and the love, thought and care that they put into our day really showed. Some people asked me later, ‘Didn’t you want to have a proper wedding?’ – implying that we were somehow missing out by having a Pop-Up wedding. But that is the thing – we didn’t feel like we had missed out on anything. When we rocked up and were met by Britt and Bianca, with such warmth like they we were the oldest of friends, we knew we were in the safest hands. On seeing the venue for the first time I was completely overwhelmed. It was so beautifully styled, we felt like it really was just for us,’ says Kelee.

Pop-Up Wedding’s Canberra dates are held at Poachers Pantry in Hall, NSW a 15 minute drive from the ACT border. Located in the Canberra wine region, the venue is surrounded by a variety of like minded businesses including wineries, restaurants, B&Bs and a beautiful day spa. The region really is the perfect place for a country wedding!
