Melissa + Brendan: Charming Barn Wedding

After searching high and low for the perfect dress, Melissa had almost given in. With just one last shop on the list, she was told that there was only one dress left in her size. “It wasn’t at all what I thought I wanted, but Natalie pleaded for me to try it on. The moment I had it on, I knew. I knew it was the one. I’d found my dream dress. I was over the moon and it was within my budget. I stepped out to show my mum and she teared up and agreed it was ‘the one’.”

Finding the right wedding dress was just one of the many special moments Melissa and Brendan experienced in the lead up to their special day.

In a blend of pastel florals and soft candles, the pair wed in rustic barn surrounded by their loving family and friends and of course, their gorgeous daughter Isabella.

Being very conscious of living in an eco friendly environment, it seemed only right that the pair incorporate this into their wedding day. The wedding printing was all on eco friendly paper, and one of their most memorable wedding features was the flower making station. “We had so many beautiful blooms that we couldn’t bare the thought of them going to waste. Everyone jumped on board later in the night and made their own bouquets from our table flowers. Some of our guests were so excited by this that they actually dried their blooms to help remember the day forever.”

Melissa and Brendan’s day encompassed their playfulness, quirky charm and of course, the abundance of love they share together. Lauren Campbell captured the couples wedding perfectly. Scroll down to see.
