Meet Julie

1

Julie, an incredibly gifted wedding photographer and happily married bride, is one of the many brides out there jumping on the bandwagon of having a fun-filled ‘trash the dress’ photo-shoot  Married ten years ago, Julie and her husband made the decision to re-new their vows again in front of their close family and friends in January this year.

“We had a late morning ceremony followed by a long lunch with a few family and friends, finishing up at around 4pm which was perfect for the light.”

Following the renewal was an exciting and adventurous shoot which found Julie swinging by a rope into a lake as she was adorned in her stunning Helene Esdaile Couture gown.

Being a photographer herself, Julie was so determined to embrace the shoot, even though she didn’t want to get her dress completely ruined, she knew it would be worth the photos!

“The photo of me swinging off a rope in the lake is worth it! Friends and family were slightly horrified at me ruining such a beautiful gown, but everyone loved the pictures, and I would totally do it again.”
