Lush Winery Wedding

The bridal party at Jacinta and Brenton’s wedding was a feast for the eyes.

Soft pink lips and matching blooms beautifully contrasted the cornflower blue bridesmaids dresses and, of course, her Theia wedding dress. The groomsmen looked sharp in navy suits with bow ties and vests, while the groom stood out with his suit jacket and modern, skinny tie. Complete with a dreamy garden wedding with lush foliage and dark wooden chairs, the couple said ‘I do’ at the stunning Tahbilk Winery.

Their marriage journey began when they revisited the restaurant where they had their first date in Bendigo. After lunch, Brenton took her down to the lake for dessert. He laid out the blanket and told Jacqui to close her eyes. When she opened them, cupcakes were arranged to spell out ‘Marry me’ with another two cupcakes: one that said ‘NO’, and one that said ‘YES’. Of course, Jacinta chose the one that said ‘YES’!

For Jacinta, seeing all of her planning and designing come to life on her wedding day was incredible. The couple didn’t have a particular theme, they just wanted people to feel and experience. “We wanted to create a really relaxed atmosphere but with a real WOW factor and of course a touch of our personal flair. We wanted people to interact and make new acquaintances.” So for Jacinta and Brenton, to see all of their family and friends enjoying themselves was all the couple hoped for.

And Jacinta’s favourite detail? How could she choose just one! “The floral arrangements – I loved the hanging foliage, the arrangement on the wedding arch and also the fire place arrangement all came together. My veil – it gave my dress a train, yet is was such a fine veil that you could still see all the detail in my dress and hair. And lastly, the name place cards. We decided to use copper wire spelling guests names instead of cards. It was a fun gift for guests but also a great visual on the tables.”
