Lisa + Franck

Both being wedding planners from the south of France, Franck constructed an elaborate plan to create the appearance of a planned styled shoot with Lisa, whilst secretly setting up the most perfect proposal. ‘We have been together for 5 years now and set up our own business 3 years ago. This summer we made the decision to change the name of our business and the vendors we usually work with suggested we did an editorial shoot including an engagement session for the change of name.  On the day of the shoot, Franck seemed in a rush, and kept telling us we have 10 mins to shoot this. Towards the end, he said he wanted to take pictures sitting in front of a laptop, which I thought was quite cheesy, I sat down, he put the laptop on the table and put headphones on my ears. The screen lit up and a video reflecting our 5 years together started with a background music that was very meaningful to us. I knew straight away he was going to propose. When the video ended, I stood up turned around, and all my family Franck’s family and our closest friends were standing there staring at me with a smile. I immediately started crying. It was just too emotional. I did mention to Franck a couple of years ago that I would have loved to have my family and friends participate into the proposal but never thought he would actually do it. Franck got on one knee, and pulled out an emerald ring and said “ Lisa, Veux tu m’épouser ?” (Will you marry me). Of course said Yes! This was followed by long hugs and tears with everyone. He then pulled out a few bottles of champagne and finger food and we all had a some drinks.’
