We’ve never seen a more break taking lakeside wedding, with the infamous Mount Rainier (looking like a painting!), fresh white blooms and dripping greenery, and strung lights as far as the eye could see. Tyler + Elise exchanged personal vows at Tyler’s parents home on Lake Tapps, with a moving ceremony and, to close the night, their own personal fireworks display! Captured beautifully by Gina Paulson, we literally can’t stop staring at this heartfelt and perfectly styled wedding!
Elise says, “I was going for ‘simple elegance’. I wanted it to be classy, yet comfortable. The gorgeous backyard and lake setting, complimented with white table cloths, gold and navy accents, and gorgeous flowers, I think the look was achieved perfectly. When I was hiding in the house before walking down the aisle, I just kept staring at the yard in complete awe that this was MY wedding. It was more beautiful than I could have dreamed.”
Their ceremony spot was transformed into their reception location during cocktail hour. Tyler and Elise set up their sweetheart table on a small floating dock overlooking all of their guests and the dance floor. Lanterns floated in the water behind them and Tyler hung string lights over the entire yard for a beautiful atmosphere!
“Marriage is having a lifetime partner in crime. Tyler and I do everything together; we love to ski, mountain bike, wakeboard, and love to sit down for dinner together every night. Your partner is your go-to person to share your dark secrets, laugh your hardest with, share the minute details of your day with, and to go play with. It’s always the little things that you do each other that add up the most. It’s building a lifetime of memories together and growing old.”
