Jess + Jack: rustic elegance

“Jack chose the song ‘Love is a verb’ by John Mayer as our wedding song because love and marriage is not about saying you’re going to do something or saying you will be there, it’s about doing it. Love is a doing word, not a thing. At the end of the day I believe marriage is about being the best person you can be to that special someone in your life.”

Jess and Jack met at university, establishing a beautiful friendship before pursuing anything else. They simply adore each other, with Jess sharing “I love how happy he makes me. Jack always mucks around and doesn’t take life too seriously. He is good to people and goes out of his way to help others. I remember saying in my vows that he is full of goodness and love, and that’s the perfect way to describe Jack. He is my best friend and the person I can’t wait to see at the end of every day,” while Jack added “I love that I found her. Jess makes love, marriage and the whole crazy dance we call life easy. Loving her smile is easy. Loving her personality is easy. Loving her work ethic, her tenacity, her knack for baking easy. Even her flaws are easy to love. For me with Jess, nothing is feigned. Being in love with my red headed best mate is effortless, its second nature. I have absolutely no qualms or reservations about spending the rest of my life with her. I can say with unequivocal clarity that I will continue to love her till the end. The thing I love most about Jess is that it’s easy to do.”
