We had to muster all our self-control not to share every single image from this gorgeous intimate destination wedding on the coast of Italy. Captured by Adam Levi Browne, every single image tells the romantic and timeless story of Jasmine + Ned’s villa wedding. Styled by Lake Como Weddings, the florals were truly the most breathtaking element - muted romantic, soft autumnal tones, and dripping from every corner. With a show stopping gown by Pallas Couture with their iconic tight lace bodice, we were mesmerized by every moment of this day.
We talked with the bride about her wedding:
How did you know your partner was the one? I think I knew Ned was the one straight away, cliché but true. I kept seeing him around town for a year before we even met and I was always so drawn to him. Once we started seeing him, I couldn’t be without him – this was solidified when Ned went to play college football in Oklahoma on scholarship for three years, so if we could get through three years of long distance we can get through anything together.
What do you love most about your partner? He is the most incredibly kind, intelligent and loving person I know. Ned is always thinking of ways to make sure I’m comfortable and cared for at all times. He always knows exactly what to say for every situation and knows how to calm me down. He accepts me for who am, embraces my craziness and even indulges it.
What was your favourite part of the wedding day? My favourite part of the day would have to be our speeches. We had a small and intimate wedding and everyone knew each other very well by this point. We were very fortunate to have the luxury of time with speeches, as it was important for Ned and I to express our love and gratitude for all those who travelled around the world to make our big day (we had guests from the USA & all around Australia attend). Ned went around the table and thanked every single guest individually along with sharing a special memory we had of them, it was so lovely. We also heard from my long time best friend and maid of honour, Ned’s Aunty and parents. Ned’s brother also had the most amazing best man speech and also gifted us with stars named after us as a wedding present. There was a lot of love in the room that night
What was your favourite detail? Definitely the floral arrangements - they were out of this world! It wasn’t easy for me to get really describe what I was looking for, and I struggled to find inspiration online. I attended a floral mock up at our florist in Como and they were just so brilliant and patient with me and brought my vision to life – the florals definitely exceeded my expectations.
What is marriage to you? Marriage is making the commitment to your greatest love that you’ll always be a team and that you’ll have the other person’s back no matter what life throws at you. It’s the commitment of loving each other, respecting each other and never giving up on each other.
