Hens night Inspo: Macrame workshop

For brides who don’t wish to have the typical Hens night, this could prove the perfect solution!

The shoot captured by Sophie Timothy Photography shows a macrame workshop for 12 people involving some wonderful Melbourne vendors.

The event was held back in March and offers inspiration for brides and bridesmaids alike who are looking to do something a little bit quirky to celebrate an upcoming wedding.

For those unaware, macrame is a textile art that uses knots rather than weaving or knitting. You can create beautiful patterns for wall hangings or as a 3D structure to hold things like pots and bowls for plants to hang out in.

And along with creating your very own artwork, there is also a spread of cheeses, fruits, nuts and sweet treats for you and your bridal posse to enjoy.
