Heidi + James

Heidi and James stood across from each other on their wedding day after years of personal hardship to share between the both of them. A lovely walk through a family memory-filled forest for their ceremony quietly celebrated and remembered what had brought and kept them together.

Heidi made her own dress, after having learned from her mother how to sew from about six years old. In honouring everything her mother had taught her after her mother had passed away a few years prior to the wedding, it was important for Heidi to make it herself. “Weathering everything with the confidence and trust we have in each other and having someone to celebrate the good things in life with is really the essence of marriage.” A beautiful sentiment from the couple who are living proof that sticking together through thick and thin is all it comes down to.
