The proposal came on Christmas Day 2015, when Harriet thought she was getting a puppy. Instead, Emad surprised her with champagne and roses before asking her to be his wife. And with overwhelming excitement, Harriet said yes.
“We talk about everything, we do everything together. He’s my sounding board, my best friend, the funniest, smartest person I know. He’s my little sense check on life.”
Their wedding came together in a blend of palm trees, beach vibes and differing cultural traditions. The wedding ceremony was personal and intimate, with just their closest family and friends to celebrate. Wonderful Lebanese drummers performed as an introduction to the reception, kicking off the night.
