Make Up Your Glow!

Sometimes we can all do with a little extra help, when we are tired or stressed, after long traveling, becoming a new Mum or working long hours. Here are the best pick me up makeup tricks when you need that little extra TLC. Now that you have eaten well, exercised and looked after your skin with appropriate skincare you made sure that you can get away with less makeup and the little products you will use can look even better on your healthy skin.
While I would recommend leaving your wedding makeup to the professionals, all of the below are super easy DIY every day makeup tips also great for holiday or honeymoon.

The Base
If you want a very simple quick all in one makeup solution try Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector or Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturiser to create a radiant base. If your skin is already good, you can try using it on it’s own, especially on top of the cheek bones, brow bones and along the nose, or you can layer it under your foundation for a subtle glow and better coverage. Only apply makeup where you need to, don’t always go on auto pilot and cake your foundation all over your face for you day to day makeup.
The key is to find a good concealer, your skin will look immediately refreshed, once you have covered any redness, blemishes and dark circles. A great all-rounder is By Terry Touche Veloutée, which is perfect for touch ups during the day too.

Being Cheeky
Blush adds an instant fresh and glowing hint of colour.

A cream blush, blended with fingers, gives the most natural dewy finish.
Apply on the apple of the cheek and blend upwards. If you are very fair a light pink will revive your skin, if you are more medium to tanned, a peach tone will blend in naturally and give you a hint of colour. Stila Convertible Color is a classic worth trying.

Perfect Pout
A bright lip can really lift your complexion if you aren’t afraid of colour.
Try out a few different brights in a makeup store to see which tones you feel comfortable with.
A natural peachy gloss or tinted balm can make you look fresh, even if you are tired and is a good quick fix staple for your bag. At the very least always have a great moisturising lip balm on you that leaves a beautiful healthy sheen.

Open Your Eyes
Keep it simple, a little dot of light reflecting eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye, it makes you look more awake and opens up your eyes. Curling your eyelashes and applying a volumizing mascara will help to define your eyes. And distract from any puffiness, just in case…

And you are good to glow!

Now don’t forget to Smile

This is the best and the easiest make-up you can apply on your face.
The more you smile, the more your face would naturally glow!
