First Comes Love

First Comes Love - Perth’s sweet and sassy fair for folks planning pledges and parties, is back for its third year, this time in neo-gothic digs. This Saturday 5 October, St George’s College in Crawley gets ‘schooled’ in all things celebratory when its grounds host a carefully curated selection of fine wedding wares and purveyors of party paraphernalia.

Created by those fab gals Angela Mitchell and Leah Dent of Studio Bomba, First Comes Love is the perfect remedy for couples seeking to walk down the ‘aisle less travelled’.

But don’t feel left out if nuptials aren’t on the agenda; First Comes Love is all geared up for engagement parties; eighteenths, twenty-firsts or any birthday ending with zero; baptisms, naming days, dedications, late night soiree’s and shindigs. In other words, these gals have got you covered.

First Comes Love came about because so many of our clients told us they’d been sourcing their wedding wares from overseas, but we knew there were clever and creative people right here in WA who made beautiful and personal goods, and we wanted to let everyone know,” said Dent. It’s this attention to detail and search for excellence that ensures only quality goods abound at the First Comes Love affair.

This year’s fair is yet again proudly sponsored by yours truly (white mag, that is!) and is jam-packed with goodly goodness for one day only. There’ll be exhibitor displays, fashion parades, hair and makeup lounge, photography and stationery galleries, an outdoor area, tasty treats and live music all in the enchanting setting of St George College’s stunning grounds.

Admission is only $10, and you get a free goodie bag. So, you know what to do…save the date!
