First Comes Love: A darling affair

3

First Comes Love, Perth’s original alternative bridal fair, celebrates creativity and caters for those who prefer to walk the aisle less travelled. The fair is designed to help people plan the most personal days of their life and to seek out perfect pairings with retailers of goodness.

Now in its seventh year, First Comes Love is holding two annual fairs, showcasing wedding whimsy and alternative artisans – spectacular styling, vintage décor, fab frocks, beautiful blooms, terrific tunes, letterpress stationery and fine photography.

First Comes Love will showcase businesses that fit with the quality and aesthetic that has made previous events such a success. Not just for weddings, First Comes Love is perfect for folks looking for inspiration for any important celebration; birthdays, christenings, naming ceremonies, anniversaries or parties “just because”.

The next bridal fair will be held on Sunday, April 2nd, 12pm – 4pm at MosArts, Mosman Park.

To get you excited for the event ahead, take a look at the gorgeous styled shoot below organised by First Comes Love, with photographs captured by Sarah Tonkin Photography.

This shoot “is about a bride who is proud of where she came from and comfortable with who she is,” shares Sarah, the Stylist from Rose & Beau. “She does not feel the need to express herself through excessive and over-the-top designs, but rather opt to embrace the beauty that is already around her, keeping everything as authentic, sincere and genuine as possible.”
