The weather most certainly delivered for Natalie and Jacob’s engagement shoot. Set in the sub-alpine woodland of Barrington Tops, the ominous clouds and setting sun created a dynamic and emotion-filled atmosphere. Pictures of the love and happiness of the couple in their enchanted forest was captured brilliantly by Barefoot & Bearded. Read on to find out about all things wedding planning!

What has been the most exciting parts of planning your wedding? Planning the whole day has been really exciting for us. Knowing that we are getting all of our friends and family together to celebrate with us has been incredible. We both loved planning all the designs and decorations for inside our venue at Wandin to have it completely represent us.

How do you think marriage will change your relationship? Marriage will start a brand new chapter in our life that will allow our love and relationship to grow.

What do you look forward to about your wedding? We love the idea of bringing all our friends and family together to celebrate love. All the hard work and stress over the past twelve months will be worth it when we can officially call each other husband and wife. We are excited to hear each other’s vows and be introduced as Mr and Mrs Ingle.

What are the most important things that make a long lasting and loving marriage? Patience and understanding when times are tough, open and honest communication every day and unconditional love.

Who have been your favourite wedding dress designers? Natalie has always had her eye on a dress from Grace Loves Lace and they have been absolutely incredible through the entire process.

What special ways do you express your love for each other? We always make sure to spend quality time together and have open and honest communication. We always put each other’s happiness first and never go to bed without saying I love you.

What are your favourite ways to spend time together? We both absolutely love travelling the world together but when we can’t do that, we love exploring beautiful Newcastle and finding places we have never been. We love trying new restaurants together, spending summer at the beach, and going on picnics together.

What’s your advice for people planning their big day? Have fun and make sure you do what you want to do. Whenever you start to feel stressed and overwhelmed, take a few deep breathes and remember why you are doing it. It will be all worth it when you are standing opposite each other about to say I do.

What’s the best relationship advice you’ve received. Never go to bed angry.
