Em + Tom's Botanical Bliss

13

And so, under the tall cedars of Kyneton Botanical Garden, Em wed Tom. Not too interested in following tradition, they set about to fill their day with greenery and love. They wanted bare foot dancing and magic; 120 of their dearest under one roof, all together, to celebrate the love Emily And Tom had been fostering for years. Em says of their engagement, “He took me to breakfast, and then with takeaway peppermint teas in hand, we walked back to the tree we had that first real conversation under, five years earlier. He proposed with tears in his eyes – I cried too and asked him to ask me again”.

With the help of Vanessa and Caris from Prunella, Em and Tom’s vision for a hanging foliage explosion in the centre of the marquee was realised. With furniture from their kitchen, an enormous hand-delivered carrot cake and tiny glass bottles filled with basil seeds as favours, it was a thoroughly comfortable and generous affair. Emily wore a simple, architectural style Carla Zampatti dress and a floral headpiece (just like her grandma did). The adorable billy buttons of the bouquets beautifully echoed the yellow of the bridesmaids’ shoes  and Tom’s femme bestie looked stunning alongside his three brothers as groomsmen.  And there to capture it all was the effervescent Beck Rocchi. We hope you find these images from Emily and Tom’s (or Tomily as they’re now called) awesome affair as delightfully honest and lovely as we did!
