Elanor + Lindsay

Elanor + Lindsay from Issue 29 wanted a beautiful, elegant, romantic but relaxed garden wedding, and Danielle from White + White Weddings & Events gave them just that. Roses and wildflowers in different blush tones with mixed greenery flooded the location, and wooden benches and mahogany bentwood chairs lined the floral aisle. The reception was just magical, romantically lit with fairy lights, with a gorgeous floral arch and hanging votives behind the bridal table. Beautiful crystal ware and handwritten calligraphy place cards were placed on the table and complemented with some soft pink, ivory and green florals. Elanor: I just wanted a dress that was timeless and classic, where I felt and looked like myself. The dress made by Anne from Paddington Weddings fit perfectly and had beautiful Italian lace. My “something old” was an incredibly special piece of hand-stitched lace from Burano in Venice, which we attached to the veil. For jewellery, I wore gorgeous pearl earrings from Kailis. Lindsay: I wanted to look handsome and classy for my bride. Mark at Wil Valor tailored a midnight blue tux with black silk lapels and a matching bow tie. A fitted white shirt and black leather dress shoes topped it off and I wore personalised cufflinks (a previous gift from Elanor).

I don’t think there was one particular memory – it was such a beautiful and happy day from start to finish. It is an amazing feeling to celebrate love with all of our favourite people who support us in our lives together.
