DIY Wedding in the Australian Mountains

6

Colour and confetti in the wild hills of Australia - this DIY dream of a wedding had us falling in love with Keisha and Daniel’s colourful love story! This wedding had everything, from a ceremony under a tee pee, to a helicopter ride, to a killer sunset (smoke bombs and everything). Captured by Light and Type Photography, we’re obsessed with every gorgeous boho detail!

Together for 7 years, they have spent every year returning to the same place, a tiny town called Merrijig in the hills of Mt Sterling, Victorian High Country. They brought their guests to a place special to them - married under a gorgeous tee pee made by the bride’s dad, her boho Rue De Seine Gown from The Bridal Atelier.

Keisha didn’t leave a detail unattended - along with Daniel she handmade bracelets with all of their guests’ nicknames; created over 300 coloured hearts to line the isle; constructed the pallet with the table seating plan on it; and dipping all of the table vases in gold glitter and paint!
