Dark Romance

2

This shoot is mixing antique with modern. With a tinted atmosphere, lush dress, flowers and a dark haired, tattooed bride, this style sums up a setting many brides-to-be and wedding professionals can fall in love with. Victor from Muse and Mirror elaborates further on this shoot.

“We decided to concentrate on telling the story of the bride on the morning of her wedding day in a charming old mansion. So we started with a big cup of tea in the kitchen, took some boudoir shots in bridal lingerie and also captured the getting ready before we came to the more classic bridal inspiration shots. Our aim was to combine the extraordinary atmosphere of the location with a modern, but still distinct alternative and boho-like bride, without losing some elegant fashion-vibes, we love so much. As we decided on this inside location and using the window light, the photo gallery has a beautiful calm and moody touch to it, with some intense and deep colours that – in combination with the big red flower crown and the matching bridal bouquet – gives a touch of Frida Kahlo-feel to it. Our pictures show that there is nothing to fear for brides and couples who decide to get married indoor or have to take their wedding to an indoor location due to bad weather. It is a reminder that every setting, light situation and style decision may have its very own allurement,” Victor shares.
