Sophie + Matthew: Circa 1876 Wedding

1

Circa 1876 provided the perfect location in the Hunter Valley for Sophie and Matthew to share their wedding vows, followed by a matching, quaint, bohemian reception. Sophie walked down the aisle between white pews lined with lanterns, down to Matthew where they made their commitment official in front of their friends and family, (as well as a stunning, floral wreath).

Wanting to take the whole day in truly, Sophie and Matthew took a moment before their reception to walk down to where they got married and look back at their reception venue. “We could see everyone celebrating and coming together for us. It was so special to have that quiet time before heading back into the celebrations and to really take a moment to let the day settle in.”

And nothing short of a unique and fun celebration their reception was. Brass vases with greenery and colourful pops of flowers worked with the moss-lined centerpieces as if Alice herself might be found mingling. Old-world velvet chairs and overhanging greenery, the perfect vintage and free-spirited touch. The pair made the most of their celebrations with loved ones, with dancing and smiles before making their way out with a sparkler send-off.
