Bohemian Woodland Elopement Inspiration

3

Who doesn’t dream of eloping in the woods and ending the night camping under the stars? Well even if you haven’t yet, after you’ve seen this Bohemian Woodland Elopement Inspiration shoot we think you’ll start dreaming of it too! Captured by Nardia Buist, this shoot was set in a gorgeous New Zealand forest at sunset, with rich colours of gold and burgandy throughout

Styled by creative Kalena Egan from PutiPuti recycled, there’s a fresh twist on a forest wedding with her gorgeous peacock chairs and circle arch. Jen Needham from Fleur De Lys created a wild, over-sized bouquet with home grown organic florals - full of twisted willow, wild rosemary, proteas, magnolia and roses. Her hand crafted head wreath is bursting with white pieris temple bells which pulls you into the finer details.

The brides makeup is soft but bold with a deep lip and a flash of gold on the lids, to complement the brides beauty, created by the wonderful Jodie of Rouge Beauty NZ! The stunning silk  gown is from NZ designer Sally Eagle, from The Haven Boutique, with its water colour florals giving it a soft flash of colour! The grooms attire is finished off with an original 1970s velvet burgundy bow tie (a family heirloom!).

Ethereal wedding stationary hand crafted and designed by Wendy Keir of Fox and the Hare is complemented by silk ribbon from Feather & Stone. They enjoyed a delicious spread of gluten free food to add taste from Amy Cosson. The director of Just Hitched Melinda Evans kindly supplied us with one of their bell tents featuring clever personal dress hangers and personalised champagne flutes from Cindy Grossart at Grossart

If their goal was to inspire readers and brides to be planning a woodland wedding, we’re sold!
