On the Scottish Isle of Skye, by a picturesque riverbed, Angela + Chris said their vows and entrusted themselves to each other as husband and wife. Accompanied only by their photographers, their celebrant and a small bouquet of freshly picked wildflowers, this elopement is simple and sweet!

Tell us about your proposal.
“Chris and I met in South Korea, teaching English to elementary students in the city of Ulsan. I had flown home to visit my family near Seattle for a few months between contracts while Chris stayed in Korea to continue teaching. Without knowing, he had coordinated the proposal with my parents and flew from Korea to surprise me. My parents took me out to dinner so Chris could set up candles in their backyard. When we got back, he surprised me in the garden and proposed.”
How did you know that your partner was the one?
“Chris and I don’t really believe in ‘the one’ but we do believe in finding a person who fits into your life so completely that you can’t imagine living any day or moment without them.”
What is marriage to you?
“Having a loving, supportive, life-long partner, friend, and lover. Both of us work to be everything we can be for the other so that we become an unmovable foundation for our family to come.”
